So last week I got my plates for the beetle and started driving it around for the first time in four months. After I was finished driving it and parked it I realized there was still an oil leak, so I had to pull the engine AGAIN!! Now I am just waiting for some tools to ship in that I need to replace the seal where the leak is. Hopefully those tools get here today so I can start working on it again and get it out of my parents garage so they can park their cars in there again.

    what a great car. My parents had a Beetle for a few years. I liked it (but was not old enough at the time to drive it). Then we had another VW. A long time ago I owned a VW Rabbit Diesel. I loved the gas mileage but it was not comfortable for long trips.

    Ya the beetle isnt too comfortable for me right now because the seat is broken and it is as close to the steering wheel as it gets but im planning on buying new seats when i have the money.
